Which time zone does Stippa use?
Stippa stores every appointment time in UTC and shows it in the time zone you set in your business settings.
What happens if the time zone is wrong?
If your time zone is wrong, customers see the wrong slots. Say you work in CET but your setting says UTC: the slots appear an hour early or an hour late.
For example: you work from 09:00 to 17:00 CET. With the time zone set to UTC, customers see slots from 08:00 to 16:00 UTC in their own local time.
How do I set the time zone?

- Go to Settings in the sidebar
- Open the Business tab
- Find the Time zone field
- Pick the right one (for the Netherlands:
Europe/Amsterdam) - Save
What if customers are in another time zone?
A customer booking from another time zone sees the slots in their own local time. Stippa converts the times automatically, based on the time zone their device reports.
In your own calendar the appointment is always shown in your time zone.
Daylight saving
Stippa handles the switch to and from daylight saving time by itself. With Europe/Amsterdam selected there is nothing for you to do.
