A cancellation at half past nine leaves an hour-long gap behind, and filling that gap is handwork: who was on the waitlist again, who would be willing to move, and who can you actually call about it at this moment.
What is new
As soon as a gap falls in the day, you can open Day rescue from the planning board. It looks at the gap that has appeared and searches for who fits into it:
- customers from your waitlist who qualify for this service and this staff member
- appointments later in the day that could be brought forward
Per suggestion you can see why the suggestion is there, and you choose for yourself who to approach. Stippa sends nothing of its own accord.
Why it is not an automaton
Who you call when a gap falls is a choice about your customers, not a sum. A regular who has already had to move twice is somebody you approach differently from somebody who came onto the list new last week. Day rescue does the looking up and leaves the choosing to you.
