What is Mollie?
Mollie is a Dutch payment processor founded in Amsterdam in 2004. It focuses on simple, transparent online payments for small and medium-sized businesses across Europe.
It is particularly popular in the Netherlands, thanks to excellent iDEAL support, a Dutch-language dashboard and support you can reach in Dutch.

- Credit card: Visa, Mastercard and American Express
- Bancontact, widely used in Belgium
- SEPA direct debit
- Klarna, pay later
- PayPal
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
What does it cost?
Mollie charges a fixed fee per transaction. There is no setup fee and no monthly subscription.
| Payment method | Fee per transaction |
|---|---|
| iDEAL | €0.29 |
| European credit card | 1.8% + €0.25 |
